This is the first post. You cannot deny that what best characterizes this post is its conspicuous firstness. Try this: count to a thousand. Done? Good. Now think about the number that you started with when you began your count. You’ll notice that that starting number was one—the very number assigned to this post.
You might be getting mad at me for having just wasted something like ten minutes of your life counting to a thousand. Before you act on your rage, though, remember just how much trouble you can cause for yourself in just ten minutes. By sitting wherever you just were and counting to a thousand, you might have prevented yourself from, say, getting into a steamroller accident or stepping in dog vomit or buying a plush, stuffed cuttlefish online.
